Learning is not just studying information to repeat the ‘right answer’, but being able to apply your knowledge and skills to specific situations in a professinal manner. It is not about getting a piece of paper, but being able to add real value measured by either earning an income or helping an organisation be more effective in its labour relations.
Students follow a course of study with the aim of becoming an Associate of the Labour Law Academy.
The programme can be completed in your own time, with payment for each course being made at the commencement of the course. The fee for each course in the programme is at a 20% discount on the normal price. Delegates are required to complete the course and achieve a pass rate of 75%, before being admitted to the next course in the Programme. The intention is that once the programme has been completed, Members will be both confident and competent to advise members or clients and represent them in hearings.
The programme consists in the following courses:
LLA101 – An introduction to legal skills: how to think like a lawyer
Become a MEMBER of the Labour Law Academy
The Membership level is aimed at organisations who wish to place a number of their employees on a course or programme.
The benefit of Membership is that organisations qualify for a discount for all courses and programme, and have access to those for a year after registration.
Become an ASSOCIATE of the Labour Law Academy.
This is aimed at persons who are already working in the labour relations, HR field either for management or labour, and who have experience and qualifications.
The LLA holds workshops to enable Associates to keep up to date with current case law and other legisation. Associates can attend these workshops at a discounted rate, during which they will learn from each other as well as from the Sean Molony and others.
As an Associate you will also be able to untilise the LLA website to book on-line consultations with clients, or arrange dates for disciplinary hearings, arbitrations as well as your own workshops.
You will have full access to all the material on the website and can use that for training your own clients or members. You will also have access to advice and support from Sean Molony and other professionals.
